Acepromazine- is it lethal to humans?

Ace is a very unpredictable drug. It is dosed by weight usually so that in itself can lend itself to further error. Ace is also very dangerous and it could easily kill you. If you take it orally, of course it will go into the bloodstream. Digestion and absorption begins in the mouth so liquids especially can travel into the bloodstream quickly. The effects of Ace can be varied and dependent on many different things - everything from constitution to tolerance or type of animal. I have dropped 2cc under my horse's tongue when needed and he weighs 1100 pounds. Ace should be used only with great care and by qualified individuals in appropriate situations. I don't think humans fall into that category. just a thought.
