Emails are being sent to my email contacts under my email address. How do I stop this?

I fell prey to a the latest SPAM, "Be a Beta Tester for IPAD." That has now opened the window for my contacts to get multiple SPAM emails from me. Is there a way to stop my contacts from receiving any future emails?
