Should i stay friends with him?

so my friend who ive been friends with for about a year hes a really pretty mean person sumtimes but he can be niice 2 me. then wen i txt him he can be a little mean but not so much. also wer the kind of friends wer we tell each othr like literally everything.but then last night i found out he started telling people i like him even tho its totally nottt tru(hes pretttty ugly)and i was rly mad @ him and hhes telling me how all these grls like him and id b lucky 2 hav a guy like him but nononono i try not 2 tell him how many ppl h8 him and say hes RLY ugly. now in a day or 2 he'll just b like im srry about tht. but he does it ALL the time. im not sure if i can take this nemore but he does need me cuz he tells me evrything and is rly emotional but has 2 try 2 be kool(even tho he rly isnt) should i stay friends with him?
