What were some of your thoughts and feelings about the HBK farewell? Did HBK bring you to tears like he did me?
If what happened Sunday night at WrestleMania did bring you to tears, then what happened on RAW probably did. I feel like someone ripped my heart out of my chest I'm so sad about HBK leaving. He's always had a way with words. It's cool how he didn't even know what he was going to say but just kind of spoke from his heart and was able to do so eloquently and meaningfully because of how much pion and heart he has for the WWE universe, all of his fans, and the business as a whole. I was a little pissed at the fans for screaming one more match but part of me thought they were showing how crazy they are about him. But it's like why would they tarnish his retirement by guilt-tripping him into trying to have a retirement that doesn't take place at WrestleMania. I love how HBK handled that by saying he doesn't want to go back on his word to the fans nor to the Undertaker like someone else did. Cough cough Rick Flair cough cough. I can't believe the rollercoaster ride HBK has taken us all on has all come to an end. The best part was the hug between him and HBK and the storybook ending on how he addressed Bret Hart (his arch-rival) as his good friend. All that's left now is for them to induct HBK into the Hall of Fame and of course for us to buy his DVD about his journey. I'm glad Undertaker came out there in character because HBK did him a huge favor in allowing him to retire him for Taker's streak. Taker must have been broken as well because he and HBK have carried the WWE for two decades together and business-wise were closer than HBK and HHH.
