Is there anyway to print on laminate sheets?

ok so i need to print on transperency sheets. unfortunitly overhead sheets that are printable run almost 70 doller. As i am only in need of about ten sheets i noticed that laminating sheets are alot less expensive so my question has anybody ever printed on laminating sheets, or have some expeirence that they might share?
