Why can't I make my parents happy?

Lately anything my sister and I do seems to make our parents mad! It's summer so they want us to be outside and they tell us how when they were kids they were outside after breakfast and only came in for lunch and dinner. We live in the country so we only have 2 other kids close to us so we hang out right after breakfast and come in for meals but now our parents said they are "getting weary of us being together all the time"!!! I don't know if we are supposed to hang out all day or not and then get yelled at that we aren't outside enough!!! Please help!
