Which type of rna is part of a system that protects cells from virus attack?

Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but the correct answer for bacterial cells is crRNA's. Wikipedia has a good page on CRISPRs (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats), that encode for RNAs helping to protect bacteria against foreign DNA sequences.
