Something wrong with my puppy?

I just gave my 9 week old puppy a bath, it's about the third time since we've gotten him (he has dry skin the vet told us to give him a bath twice a week with the medicated shampoo to help) and each time he goes CRAZY when we let him out of the bath. It's normal I know, all my dogs do it, I guess it's their way of 'air drying.' Anyway, as he was running he started yelping, holding up his right front paw when he sat down. I gently probed up and down the leg and he didn't give any reaction but he's still yelping and holding up the leg. It worries me as he's an Aussie and I've heard of them having leg problems other than the usual hip displaysia. I'd take him to the vet but the offices are closed today (always closed on sunday, incredibly stupid) is this something I should take him to the emergency office for or should I just make him rest until it stops hurting him. Any idea what may have happened? Thanks...
