I am 31 years old and I am waking up at night with hot flashes and sweats..?

My mother started menopause early. Just wanted to know if this could be what is happening. I am NOT pregnant, I went for an ultrasound today to find something out, but THEY didn't tell me anuthing. If anyone could shed some light on this, I would appreciate it.
