Well, even if you want your hair to be longer, it is still a good idea to get it cut occasionally. Hair tends to get split ends, and this can give it an untidy look. Getting it cut gets rid of that problem, but it also makes it grow longer. Split ends inhibit your hair from growing because it is damaged. Also make sure you use a decent shampoo and conditioner daily. Hope this helps.
